Failure a thing which makes people demotivated, disheartened and tend to give up but actually Failure gives us the opportunity to bounce back, to learn from our mistakes, and helps us appreciate success and MBA Chaiwala proves this right.
Praful Billore the owner of the famous MBA Chaiwala was an ambitious teen from a middle-class family with a dream to study in a prestigious MBA university in India but even after appearing for the CAT examination third time he failed and this marked the beginning of his journey.
His willingness to achieve something took him to places. Initially he worked in McDonald's and wanted to start up his own venture but due to lack of money he gave up upon that idea but being a man of dedication, he didn't give up and came up with an idea of opening a tea stall as a business as tea kept him going during his CAT preparation days and also people in INDIA have immense love for tea.
So, from this idea his journey began. He had borrowed Rs.8000 from his father and told him that he is doing some course as we live in a stereotyped society where selling tea is seen as a small work done by uneducated class of people.
On 25th of July he started his first stall in Ahmedabad and named it as MBA Chaiwala. Initially he suffered a lot and only 1 or 2 sales were there but slowly he stared attracting people by conversing with them in English and eventually he became very popular and a lot of people started visiting his stall and his per day sales increased and was around 10000.His parents got to know about his venture from YouTube and they also accepted his new venture.
But soon after this another hindrance came on his way as the other small businessman started getting jealous of him and stared threating him to go away and eventually because of all this he had to remove his stall from there but he still didn't give up.
He found a place outside a hospital and from there his business came back even stronger.
One more reason for his success is that didn't let himself get bother by people's comments and took the negative criticism positively.
People mocked him saying MBA Chaiwala without a MBA degree to which he proudly replied that ‘MBA’ stands for Mr. Billore Ahmedabad, not Masters in Business Administration.
Soon his venture came into the million club and he himself became a guest speaker at the Prestigious MBA universities like IIMs and even Harvard.
No work is big or small, what makes a difference is the manner by which we execute the work.
In Praful’s journey full of obstacles but all these obstacles didn’t stop him. His business is a classic example of “dream big and work hard.”
